  1. Nicolette Forgione Period 3 - My first true love and I met at a dance, just like Romeo and Juliet but we didn't fall in love at fist sight. He asked me to dance and I said yes and after we danced we began talking and got to know each other and that's when I figured out that he may be my true love. I don't think I would care if Romeo and Juliet were having a secret wedding because he shouldn't be labeled on his name and her family should let her have the freedom to choose who she loves and who she wants to marry.

I met my first love in church but I did not fall instantly in love with him, like Romeo and Juliet. I spent time with him and got to know him. I eventually married him, and we are still happily married today with four kids. Romeo fell in love with Juliet at first sight. He loves her only knowing her physical appearance. He doesn't know her personality. If I were to hear that Romeo and Juliet were having a secret wedding, I would be very surprised. Since I work for him and his family I would question why he is marrying a capulet. I would hope that this event could better the feud between these two families.

I remember my first love like it was yesterday. It was my wife, and I knew she would be from the minute i laid eyes on her. Like Romeo and Juliet it was love at first sight. Believe it or not we met at the same barber shop that i work at today. My father used to own it before he went with God, but I worked there as an assistant. A girl walked through the door and asked if she could have her hair done for a wedding she was going to. My father said "of course", but before he could do anything else i told him that I would be glad to do this woman's hair. So as I was cutting her hair we talked and talked, and then talked some more. Two years later we were married.

Unlike Romeo and Juliet we had some time before we got married, and we were not rushed into anything. Also, our parents did not hate each other, they were happy for us.

About this secret wedding, i don't approve nor do I oppose to it. Love can wait, or else it wasn't meant to be in the first place. Romeo and Juliet should not rush themselves into this. But, their parents do cause a big conflict. The children should be free to marry whom ever they choose, regardless of the family. Now I understand that the Montagues are terrible, but true love is true love, and there is no taking away that.

I met my first love, my wife, at the bakery. I did not fall in love at first sight like Romeo, but this lady did catch my attention as soon as I walked in. She was extremely pretty and I knew I wanted to get to know her. This is different from Romeo and Juliet because there actions seem to be outrageous. It took me a year to get married, for them it takes a day. I would be glad that romeo was getting married, unnil I find out she is a Capulet. I was so sick of Romeo crying all day ver that girl Rosaline, it was pathetic. Its funny how he went from rosaline to this new girl very fast.

I will never forget the first time I loved someone. I met her in the town square as I was going through to buy some fish for dinner. I was 14 years old and I had never loved anyone before. When I saw her, I didn't think much of her, but later that evening I saw her walking through the town again and I said hello. After talking to her that night I knew I wanted to be her husband. Unlike Romeo, I didn't start to love her at first sight. I did think she was pretty right away but I didn't begin to love her until later on. Romeo and Juliet got married quite quickly, as I did not. It was 6 months before I asked for her hand in marriage. Romeo marrying Juliet secretly wouldn't be a problem for me...except she's a Capulet. I hate those Capulets. Although I have heard that she is a very nice young lady, a Capulet is a Capulet.

Similarly to the love of Romeo and Juliet, my first love was unheard of in society. I fell in love with a servant at my house. Of course I could never be with him because he was a lower class citizen and my parents had already arranged for me to marry who I'm currently married to. I never had the courage to defy my parents like Juliet did for Romeo. That's one of the reasons I look up to her so much. When Juliet told me that she was getting married to Romeo I was thrilled. It made me happy that she was doing what she needed to do for love. I can especially relate to her because I never got over my first love and I wish I took action as she did with Romeo.

My first love was a young blacksmith that I met while running errands for The Montagues. He was tall and lanky, at least two years older than I, but charming all the same. He spoke in what sounded like riddles to me, and always kept me guessing. He always had something new to teach or offered a shoulder to cry on. He was my confider and my best friend. Though it wasn't love at first sight like Romeo's love for Juliet, it was real. Unfortunately for myself, this love was like Romeo's love for Rosaline; unrequited. I still see him in the blacksmith's shop hammering away, but I can never bring myself to speak with him anymore.

The only way Romeo and Juliet could be married is if they were wed secretly, though that doesn't make their decision the right one.

I remember the first time I laid my eyes on my wife. It was love at first sight just like with Romeo and Juliet. I fell in love one day at the market, when I first saw her I thought of how beautiful she was and stared and when she began to talk to me my heart was beating so fast. I cant say that I remembered anything she said to me because i was to busy staring at her. Like how Romeo felt at first it was lust but after I started to talk to her it became love. Unlike Romeo and Juliet we got married after 9 months of knowing each other.

When I heard Romeo and Juliet were getting married I was thrilled. To have the courage to go against the two most powerful families in Verona took a lot of courage and this proved to me that they were truly in love.

  9. Carlye Uretta Period 4- I met my first love while on my way home from work. I was walking to town to get some food for dinner, and right as i was paying my money, i dropped a few coins. I was soon accompanied by a very good looking young man, he was also getting food. He gave me my coin as we made eye contact, it was not love at first sight like Romeo and Juliet but i did feel something between us not quite love though. The next day was just like the first until it eventually became a routine, we soon sat down and ate dinner together and got to know each other unlike Romeo and Juliet. That "something" i had felt a few weeks before had most certainly turned into something stronger than i'd thought. A while after we began to plan the wedding also unlike Romeo and Juliet, and every since that day we are happily married.

When i heard that Romeo and Juliet were getting married i was really shocked because i do not know much but i do know that Romeo and Rosaline were together but i assume that something happened, i was just shocked to see how quickly he found a new girl. I also think its brave of the couple considering their families are not very fond of each other it should be a very intresting wedding.

My first and only true love and I met at love at first sight just like Romeo and Juliet but differently. He was at a party at the Capulets as was I because I baked the deserts and they invited me. We were both walking up to get some dessert and we both reached for the same cookie, but startled we pulled back and looked into each others eyes and I knew right then and there he was the one for me. He let me have the cookie and for the rest of the night we talked about our goals in life and our futures together.
If I hear about Juliet and Romeo's wedding I would let it be, people shouldn't be stopped to be with whom they love because they will suffer the rest of there life.

My first true love was my cousins friend. During the Christmas time one year, I was visiting family and I saw her. She was beautiful and humorous. We talked for a while and then I found out she had a fiance. Romeo and Juliet met at a party unlike me. Kissed at first confrontation, were both single, and there love was automatically forbidden.

If I heard about Romeo and Juliet getting married I would congratulate them and be happy for the couple. Eventually I would blackmail them to not tell Lord Capulet.

As the only girl in a family with 4 brothers, i was always around boys ! My brothers constantly had friends over as i was growing up. I don't remember the majority of their friends that came over, all accept one. His name was Leo. I was about 10 years old when we first moved to Verona. I was close to all my brothers but i was attached by the hip to my brother a year older then me named William. WIlliam and I did everything together and introduced each-others to all our friends. I always will remember the day i met Williams current best friend, Leo. I was out shopping in the town and came home. I was in the kitchen putting away the food i just had bought when a unfamiliar face appeared in my kitchen. He was the most perfect face i have ever seen and right then and there i knew he was the one. Leo gelt the exact same way! We waited a few years and when Leo was 14 and I was 13, we got married and we are currently still together. We have 4 kids, two boys and two girls! Lady Capulet and I were talking about marrying off our daughters. Rumor has it that Romeo Montague and friends snuck into the party hosted by the Capulets. I understand that Lord Capulet just let it go because they weren't causing any trouble but still Montague's should not even be there. Lady Capulet was saying how lovely Paris ( Juliette's soon to be husband) is. We were joking around saying "anyone is better then marrying a Montague!" I began to think what would happen if Juliette or my daughter was to fall in love with a Montague and secretly got married to them! I know that would never happen in the life of Lady Capulet and I. That would be unacceptable.

My first true love was my bestfriend's brother. We knew each other for quite awhile, and I would always look forward to seeing him at her house. The only problem that was keeping us apart was that he was getting married to a beautiful wealthy girl, that his parents and her parents had arranged for them. I knew that he didn't love her though, he thought of her only as a best friend or even a little sister. I didn't think that he felt the same way that I do for him about me, but I didn't mind. But one day all of that changed, he confessed that he loved me! But we both knew it couldn't work because he was soon to be married so we agreed that even though we will both marry people we don't love that we will still love each other and try to find some way that we could be together without causing large conflicts. It is different from Romeo and Juliet because we are both from Capulets and not the Montagues, we also know that if we really tried hard to find a way that we could possibly be together.
If I heard that Romeo and Juliet were having a secret wedding I would be thrilled, shocked and scared. I would be thrilled, because i would want them to get married because people who are truly in love deserve to be together and I would also want the conflicts between the Montagues and the Capulets to decease. I would be shocked because I wouldn't be able to believe and take it all in that these young kids are attempting to mix the two enemies together, this would cause so much uproars between people. I would be scared because I wouldn't want anything bad to happen to Romeo or Juliet and I would especially not want anyone from either sides fighting with each other and getting hurt.

  14. Max Uretta Period 7- My first true love was a lower class women named Maria. She was very beautiful internally and externally. She was around 5’3” and was the youngest from four kids in her family. Her mother died at a young age and her father was an alcoholic. I met her wandering the streets for food and I gave her a loaf of bread. From there we began talking everyday and after a couple of weeks, we fell in love. Unlike Romeo and Juliet our love was formed after weeks instead of one night. Our love was real because it wasn’t based on looks or sexual acts, we loved each other for who we were and it was real. There really is nothing similar of Romeo, Juliet’s and my love relationships except the fact the Romeo fell in love with a beautiful girl and so did I. If I discovered Romeo and Juliet were having a secret wedding I would be completely against it. I would be against it because I believe that Montague’s and Capulet’s should not be together. Also I believe the two don’t actually love each other and I don’t want them getting themselves into something they’ll regret.

I met my first true love at a dance with many different people and then i saw her and i fell in love, She is currently my wife. I then apporached and i started danceing with her then we just kept talking. She likes the fact that i am a jester because i make her laugh alot. then after like a year or so i proposed to her adn she said yea. We got married in like a week and he are still togetther.
I have heard about Romeo and Juliet getting married and i will congradulate them becasue of there marriage and i will not tell anything to anyone expect my wife. because if they want to be together they can do whatever they want. I dont think their families should get involved with their marriage.

  16. Oriana Flecha- I remember my first love, we were family friends and would see eachother each holiday, we were really close and became bestriends when we were 6. we fell in love and shared snacks and sneaked kisses when our parents werent watching. our love was much more different from romeo and juliets, they had more of an intense and committed love and know what they are doing, and we barely knew.

  17. Samantha O'Rourke period 6 my first love when around the time i was 12 let me tell you he was no gentlemen. Turns out he only pretended to love me because of my wealthy family. He was not whi I thought he was he fooled me started out by being sweet nice acted like he cared about my problems when really he just wanted my money. I couldnt blame him plus we were young nieve unsure about the world around us. So its safe to say my first love and I were not at all like Juliet considering their was no real love. I thimk that the idea of Romeo and Juliet getting secretly married is very romantic, unlike my former love who I refuse to say the name of Romeo seems very grounded and mature I believe he will be very good to young Juliet.

I remember the first time i met my true love. I was partaking in a book club at age 12 and thats when i first laid eyes on her beautiful body. I believe it was my luscious hair that wooed her the most out of all of my amazing qualities. It was love at first sight and it just like Romeo and Juliet, however it was not quite that serious. If i heard that Romeo and Juliet were having a secret wedding I would support them because Romeo is my good friend and i would want the best for him.

  19. Katie Stevens. Period 4- My first true love is currently with my husband, Johnny. Johnny and i met when i was walking out of my bakery. I was carrying tons of ingredients and items to bring home to my house to keep working on new recipes, when i tripped accidently on a rock and knocked everything onto the ground from my hands. This fine young man stood over me and reached for my hand. Once i was standing up, he helped me pick up all the items off the ground and carried them to my house with me. We talked and talked for hours and got to know each other very well. When i first saw him, it was lust. He was a very good looking man, however, our marriage was not based on "love at first sight," it was more along the lines of "lust at first sight." After talking and getting to know each other we had a lovesick feeling, which drove us to our marraige one month later. Romeo and Juliet had love at first sight and did not know each other very well, however, Johnny and i did. Also, Johhny was not an enemy of the Capulets and my parents approved of our marraige. Therefore, my relationship with Johnny is completely different from Romeo and Juliets.

Knowing that i am the sister of Juliet, i would be very hurt not knowing about the wedding of her and Romeo. I always told her to go for who she loves, yet to not do something she would regret, which could be caused by more family hatred and fighting with the Montagues. I was a neautralizer, however, she knew that i would always defend her no matter what because Juliet and i have always shared that close sister relationship with one another.

My first love is a bittersweet story to tell, mainly because we were originally forbidden to be together. Since I grow up in a house with two older brothers their priorities had always come before mine to my parents and I was always left in the dust. My first love was a baker who was passing through Verona, visiting his family while his village was being attacked. I was 14 then and he was 16, but it was no case of love at first sight. He was very arrogant in the publics eye and he even knocked down all of the cloth from my hand when he first saw me! At first he was laughing, but once he saw that I did not find it funny he apologized immediately and begged my forgiveness. My story is very unlike Romeo and Juliet’s first meeting since Romeo could do nothing but gaze at Juliet and fawn over her beauty, while my love story started off with complete rudeness. After my love had apologized he promised to make it up to me and take me out to dinner one night after I finished working at the Capulets house, so I reluctantly agreed. After that night I could not stop thinking about him and realized that I was in love with this man, but the next time I saw him my heart broke. He told me that he had to return to his village and I ether had to come with him or we could never be together again, but I could not leave my family and told him to leave me. For the next months I cried myself to sleep every night because I could not stop thinking about my love and how I let him go. I would whole heartedly approve of a secret wedding between Romeo and Juliet because I know the troubles of deciding between your family and your love, and I will never wish that upon any other person.

The story of my first love is a tragedy. Ay me, how could this happen to me? Life has not come good to me. I grew up poor, so very poor, and left my home a little while back to start working at the Montague's. When I started working at the Montague's I met Romeo for the first time. I have never seen someone like him. His charming looks could make any girl swoon and he's beautiful on the inside as well. Romeo's poetry is sweeter than a singing bird. Oh, it appears that I've gone off on a tangent. If it isn't obvious, Romeo has been my first true love and I've been swooning over him since I first laid eyes on him. It isn't fair that Romeo has just met Juliet and thinks he's in love...I mean I know where he is coming from, but why her? It just isn't fair. You grow up your whole childhood a poor peasant and when you think you have a chance at romance...it is grabbed out of your fingertips. And now there is word of a secret wedding between Romeo and Juliet. This cannot be happening. She is all wrong for him, he's my true love! Ay me, I hope it is only a rumor.

  22. I've never really had a true love. I've seen people I liked a lot, but I cannot say that I loved them. I guess love hasn't really come my way yet. Also I am not that much of a romantic. I do not love easily, unlike my counterpart Romeo. That kid is quicker to love than lightning is to strike. I would not be against a marriage between Romeo and Juliet, but I wouldn't be for it either. I think if they love each other they should get married. Plus this might end the family's feud which has been a thorn in my side for as long as I can remember. However, I cannot say that I am for it because it goes against all tradition and is not how marriage is supposed to be.

  23. Emma LaBarbera- Period 7

My first love was similar to the love of Romeo and Juliet because we both are star-crossed, and cannot be together. When I first started to work after I ran away from home, I worked for an upper middle class family. The youngest son and I would talk occasionally but only about strictly work until one night he asked me to be with him. I loved him and he loved me, but we couldn't be together. We were from different parts in the social class and he was of course wealthier than me, where I couldn't rub two dimes together. For that reason I had to keep my job, for it was the only money I have ever known to earn by myself, and there was no way I would come back to my parents house. It was horrible seeing him everyday knowing that I can't have him. One day at the market, I met Juliet's nurse who was in need of help around the house. She asked me and with much thought I said yes. I must reinvent myself and not have to live everyday knowing that I can't have something or someone, so I spared myself the pain and left the man I loved. I regret it very much because I found out later that he had passed away. The doctors said it was sudden but I know it was because of a broken heart. I feel guilty and I regret it everyday that I let him slip away and didn't make it clear to him that I love him and wanted to be with him. If I found out that Romeo and Juliet were getting married, I would remain silent and not say anything about it for I believe in love and that life is short, and that you should be with the one you love, even if it does defy rules.

  24. I have yet to find my one true love, I mean i am only 15 and i do not have time for a love life due to the amount i work. But i do keep my eyes open, because one day i really want to find love, i cant let it slip through my fingers. Obviously i am different from Romeo and Juliet's love because well, i have no one that really cares who i end up with, as long as i am happy my family is okay with whoever it is. I cant say the same for Romeo and Juliet of course, i do feel bad though. It wouldn't surprise me if i found out that they were secretly getting married. Romeo has always been that sappy romantic type who takes things to extreme measures. But i guess thats just what real love does to you. But i mean if i did find out about this secretive wedding, i wouldn't really try and get involved, i would obviously tell Romeo to be extremely careful and that he should know that if he gets caught its all on him. But I mean really, if he is happy i am happy and i could careless about the rest.

The story of my first love is not very similar to the story of Romeo and Juliet. However, we do have one thing in common. I also fell in love around the same age of 13 or 14, but other than that there is nothing in common. For me, I don't think that it was love at first sight, but with Romeo he's fallen in love almost immediately with two different people. I have been married for 14 years, and my marriage was definitely not a secret, unlike Romeo's. My parents approved of my wife, which is very different in Romeo and Juliet's case. I know that their parents will certainly not approve of their marriage, which is why they to get married in secrecy. I would never tell their parents even if it jeopardized my job because I feel that Romeo and Juliet deserve to be happy.

My first true love in my bakery. I was thirteen years old, and he comes into the bakery to buy bread and dinner for his family. I couldn’t take my eyes off of him, and almost messed up his order. My father was pestering me about being married at the time, and when I saw this man I knew he would soon be my husband; it was love at first sight. I introduced him to my father, and he approved. We got married weeks later and are very happy together, raising our children. My experience is different from Romeo and Juliet’s, because my parents didn’t not like my husband, whereas Juliet’s family was enemies with the Montagues. We never went against our parents for our love like they did. If I heard that Romeo and Juliet were having a secret wedding, I’d be happy for them. I think it would be rather crazy, but exciting at the same time. It would be risky and I am sure I would never be able to go through with it. I would not tell anyone about it, if I knew, because it wouldn’t end well for them. I wouldn’t want them to create more trouble.

My first true love was at a food store. My first true love was not like Romeo and Juliet's because I did not fall in love at first site. It took me about a year to get married, unlike ROmeo and Juliet who fell in love at first site and are secretly getting married. I am happy for Romeo because he found another girl and got over Rosaline. He didn't stop crying about that girl. I don't care if Romeo and Juliet are having a private wedding, but it is not the smartest thing to do, especially because they are from different families, who are enemies.

My first love is with my current husband, Jack. Our parents were very friendly, so our families would have dinners together most of the time. At first I never talked to Jack until one day he came up to me and introduced himself and asked about me as a person. From then on we became inseparable and were best friends. We would talk all the time and sneak out of our homes to see each other daily. I soon realized I really liked Jack. When we became older, we still were best friends and he asked me to marry him. At first I was very shocked because of how young I was but I said yes. I realized he is the one for me. I am glad I made the choice to marry him because now I have started a family with him and everything in my life is going well. Working for the Capulets, I, myself talk to Juliet a lot of times. She helps me for advice a lot and I gladly help her with it. If I found out that Romeo and Juliet were getting married, I would keep it a secret and not tell anybody about it because I have always believed that love at first sight exists and that you should be with who you want to be with no matter who they are and where they come from.

My real love and I were just really good friends at that time. We use to celebrate many holidays together, he was my best friend, and I could trust him a lot. I thought it was real love because when we were together and no one was looking, we would sneak kisses. I knew from that point that we would end up being together with kids. However our love was different from Romeo and Juliet because they had only met each other at one dance and they both knew it was love at first sight, with my husband and I it was different. Since my husband and I knew each other for a very long time and knowing the type of guy he was, we both knew that we were right for each other. If I heard that Romeo and Juliet were having a secret wedding I would be happy for them. I knew if they were committed for that big promise of being together for the rest of their lives, I knew, people knew, and they knew that their love was really meant to be.

My first true love was with a girl whose father did dealings with my father. She would often come to my familys bank with her father when ever three was something that needed to be done between her fater and mine. I finally got the courage to her out and then we went on several dates and are still currently dating now. I dont think that me and my love would have to go through the same thing that romeo and juliet went through because our fathers are friends not enimies, so our situation is much better than ours. There would not be any problems if we were to get married, something I am happy for. I think that Romeo and Juliet are doing what they think is best by having a secret wedding, so im all for it, since Romeo is a good friend of mine. If it makes him happy then im all for it.

When I met my first love I was about the same age as Romeo and Juliet maybe a little bit older. His name was Carlo and he had become one of my best friends. He was one of our regular customers and our family Inn. Sometimes I used to sneak off while I was working go see him. Unlike Romeo and Juliet we didn’t have love at first sight. It took us a while before we truly like each other. Unfortunately after a while he started coming into town less and less until I completely stopped seeing him. Luckily for me my second love came around and eventually turned into my amazing husband, Alberto. If I heard Romeo and Juliet were going to have a secret marriage I would tell to make sure they loved each other and really wanted to do it. I would also advise the Capulets and Montague’s to allow them to be together because the fighting is worthless.

He was watching me perform, and he complimented me afterwards, he said he loves the way I play, and that he plays violin too. He also wanted me to start teaching him lessons. After the lessons started we started to get to know eachother, and we started to like eachother, and eventually we admitted it to eachother. And we just took it from their. Sometimes he plays in the town circle with me, or he goes off and help his dad at his market. He is an awesome boyfriend. One of my friends have told me he Is going to pop the question one of these days. I don't know if it's true, but if it is, that would be nice, and truthfully I'm in no rush. I would not really say I have had a Romeo and Juliet experience. Those two fell in love immediately. I did hear that there might be a secret wedding, I would love to attend it, if I allowed. Or I would ask to perform at it. I think it's beautiful if they got married, maybe the feud might finally end.

My first love was the wife I am currently still married to. It was not love at first sight, like Romeo and Juliet's. Rather she had to sway me, I was uninterested at first and all of my cronies thought I should not be together in union with her. Only after she talked to me day in and day out did I realize that I had to make the decision by my self. I think I made the right decision, I went for her and we really loved each other and so we decided to get married, and we have three children. It was partially the looks of my beautiful wife, but mainly her personality. I now feel the same as Romeo feel about Juliet. I would not be able to survive without my wife at this point in time. I am satisfied with anything my wife does, like Romeo. Although if I heard that this Montague was marrying Juliet, a Capulet. I would be incredibly angry, I would do anything in my power to stop the marriage, so that the dirty Montague's would not get a hold of the Capulet empire.

My first love was indeed my husband that i'm married to today. we met at the market one day and became very close friends. we started to fall for each other and he is my best friend. he really did help me through the death of my mother better than anyone else could. i love him and he is a great father to our children. our experience was not like romeo and juliet's because as a teenager i was a very guarded girl and i wanted to get to know my husband before i rushed into anything. if i knew romeo and juliet were having a secret wedding i wouldn't really have any say it in, but i don't think either parents would be pleased and i guess because lady capulet does know of me, she would be furious to know that i would support such a thing, so i would try to sway them otherwise.

I met my first true love at school. We were in class and once i saw her i knew i loved her. As of today, she is my third wife and she will be my last wife. We have been together for many years and we have survived through an economical hole and our four children have all survived. We were inspired by Romeo and Juliet because when i firsts aw her, she was with another dude, so we had to sneak around after class.

Since I have always been poor, I have never experienced true love. My husband and I had an arranged marriage by our parents. I guess once I married him I loved him, but that is the only love I have experienced and it was not my choice to love him, but our parents. Romeo and Juliet seemed in love at first sight, I actually do not believe in the concept of love. I believe that you must get to know a person before you love them. For example when I first met my now husband I thought he was a disrespectful man. But by the time we got married I was in love. My experience is similar to that of Romeo and Juliet because in both cases it was true love. However theirs was love at first sight and mine was not. If I knew about the secret wedding there really is not anything I could do because I have no business to tell them how to live, and they probably do not even know I exist.

What would you do or say if you heard Romeo and Juliet were having a secret wedding? (76)
i saw my first love 3 years ago. she came to the house of capulettes for summer, she was juliettes cousin. she loved bakeries and pastries, when she came in the bakery i saw her and could moved i was frozen, she was so beautiful and from that day i knew we were meant to be but there is a policy that the staff isn't aloud a relationship with the member of the family, so we had to sneak around for those 3 years but hopeful soon we will be able to tell people that we are in love. this is somewhat familiar to romeo and juliet because we both feel in love and are both not allow to be married. if they were going to get married i would say congratulations and propose to make them a cake and also i would take the opportunity to tell the capulettes that me and elizabeth ( the women i am in love with ) that we are in a relationship.

My first true love is indeed the one I'm in love with right now. I don't think he notices me much, he talks to a few other girls... we do talk daily and he's so amazing and nice, but I'm not quite sure if he loves me back. It's so tough talking to him without letting him know. With me being of a marrying age now, I do indeed hope no other girl goes for him. Many don't though as he's not the number one talk of the town, my friends do say he looks at me as he is in love but I do not believe them.

Romeo and Juliet have had an extremely secretive and fast relationship for my taste, as me and the one I have my sights set on aren't secretive we talk out in public all the time and he is of the same class as I am. I do not believe Juliet should marry him! He is a Montague, enemy of the Capulet's, but the Nurse tends to speak of him fondly.

If Romeo and Juliet were having a secret wedding I think I would scream! Lady Capulet would be depressed as she wants Paris to marry Juliet. If I found out of it I would immediately tell Lady Capulet and Lord Capulet, as it is my duty to tell them of the things that happen in their daughters lives because they cannot get through to her!

I remember the first time I laid my eyes on my wife. I was strolling through town and i spotted her buying food at the market. I couldn't get my eyes off of her. So I went over and started to talk with her. I knew that she was the one I wanted to marry after we got to know each other. Our love can be compared to Romeo and Juliet's because after I first asked her what her name was, she told me and then i began to realize our two families were also enemies like those of Romeo and Juliet.

    Maria D'Annibale:

I met my first true love at the market when he bought me a fruit. It was very different from the experience of Romeo and Juliet. My situation was not love at first sight like theirs. I talked and hung out with the guy and got to know him. Romeo and Juliet met and got married over the coarse of two days. I married my love after a few months. My relationship was very passionate and romantic similar to Romeo's. I am still happily married to my love with four kids. If I heard that Romeo and Juliet were having a secret wedding, I would be a little surprised and shocked. Since I work for Romeo's family, I would question why he was marrying a capulet, after all, their families are enemies. I would possibly tell Lord and Lady Montague, being loyal and saving my job but, on the other hand, if I kept it to myself, I would hope that their marriage could lead to a compromise and end the feud between the families.

I have never really have a first true love. I never really get to leave the house since i am constantly loaded up on work around the house. I have no experience with talking to a guy and if i ever do i wouldn't know what to say. Even when i was a child no guys would want to come up and talk to me. nobody wanted to talk to a poor girl. Romeo and Juliet are only 13 and 14 and they have had more experience that i have had in my entire life, it's very depressing if you ask me. If i heard that Romeo and Juliet were having a secret wedding, i wouldn't say anything or do anything. That is none of my business and just getting involved with something other than my work wouldn't be good. Even if i would say something they probably would never believe someone like me.

Friar Lawrence and I have a very close relationship. I know i can tell him a number of things, whether it's about women, money, etc. Not only is he a great listener but his feed back is outstanding. I see him daily and he preaches countless selfless values. When my wife and I were having marital issues, he was the first person I sought for. Another time while I was sharpening my masters sword, hot steel fell on my leg. I was in agony. But when I visited him, I stood there in amazement while he applied a herb called "The White Lotus." It is an elixir created by extremely poisonous plants. Isn't it ironic how some of the most dangerous things can cause such beneficial affects. However too much of something good can be bad. For example, taking to much medication, wasting money, etc. All in all everything that Friar Lawrence says to me is accounted for, and I truly admire his character.

  48. I remember when i spotted eyes on the one that i thought that i would live my life with. She was beautiful, i could spend every minute with her of the day. This compares to Romeo and Juliet because Romeo is so in love with JuLIET AND Juliet is so in love with Romeo. They love eachother so much that they are getting married, and they have only new eachother for a day or two. They could spend every second of every minute in eachothers arms. If i heard about the wedding that Romeo and Juliet were having, i dont know what i would do. I would want to tell people, but at the same time i want them to have a wedding that there parents dont know about so they can be together.

  49. Roma S (pd.4)…My first true love was when I was 16. This was when I decided to become a maid. My parents were family friends with a family from a village about an hour from Verona and they had a son two years older than me. This family was richer and their son was educated! I mean for a person like me who’s never went to school, I found this very impressive! His name was Joseph. When my family and I went to their home, Joseph and I immediately liked each other and spent most of our time. We talked about getting married about a couple months later, but then he got a scholarship to a university in Italy where we couldn’t see each other so the wedding plans were dismissed. My love and I however did not have love at first sight. Our love grew over time as well as our thoughts on getting married. I would be astonished at that behavior. Marriage is a sacred thing and shouldn’t be something to hide! If I had the chance to get married I certainly would brag and tell people. If I was to ever marry the enemy, why I wouldn’t even think of it! Its too scandalize in my opinion to do such a thing, especially in a small town like Verona where everyone knows everything about everyone.

I met my first true love a couple of years ago. I was 15 years old and i was going purchase some miles from a farm a little way out of town. I met a young woman who was selling the mules while her father was out of town. We talked for a while after i had bought my mules. We then decided to meet up next week in our small town. Her name was Adona. She was educated for a short period of time in her life since her mother was part of a royal family. Her mother had married her father a while ago but once Adona was about 10, her mother left and took the money. Her father was not educated and he did not have a well enough paying job to keep her in school. We had begun to see each other more and more often and we eventually got married once we were 16 years old. i am still happily married to her today and we have one son.

She had 3 brothers and 2 sisters. She was the youngest. Her family was educated. Later on that year I proposed and we got married. I am still married to her today and I am enjoying every bit of it. Also we 3 daughters and 1 son.

  52. I never really had a true love, being 21 this is odd. i guess i started to think independently sooner than most. but my idea of love is very different then Romeo and Juliette’s. i support their relationship but feel they both need to have more time before throwing the word around. They fell in love with each other’s looks which is very superficial. if I were to see them get married in this short period of time I would be upset but i would respect Juliette’s actions and support her as much as possible.

I have found true love, whom is my lovely wife. I met her when i was eleven and we have been married for 9 years, in fact our 10th anniversary is coming up very shortly. My family was very indeed happy with my choice for my wife. As long as im happy their happy. To bad its not the same case for romeo and juliet. Romeo cant be with juliet because he is a motague and juliet is a Capulet. they are from to rival families. in find it very upsetting knowing that they are forced to have a secret relationship. Their families should mot definatly be happy they found love. But im not sure Romeo is in love because he claimed to be in love with rosaline the day before now hes deeply in love with juliet! if i found out they were having a secret marriage i would be happy for them. i would keep it to myself though. I might even go to the wedding to support my wee lad romeo.

My first love is a compilicated tale to talk about because we were forbidden to be together. Since I was in a house with two sisters their resposiblities had always came before my own to my aunt and uncle. My first love was a merchant who was stopping by through Verona, visiting his friends, while his family was in distress. I was seventeen then and she was fourteen, but it was love at first sight. She was very nice with me and she even picked up all my goods from my arms when she first saw me. At first she was laughing, but once she saw that I did not find it funny she apologized . My story is very unlike Romeo and Juliet’s first meeting since Romeo couldn't do anything and looked over her beauty, while my love story came from a drop of goods. After my love had apologized she promised to make it up to me and take me out to dinner after I finished working at the Capulets palace I agreed. After that night I was thinking about him and realized that I was in love with this women, but the next time I saw him my heart was embarcing the sight of her. She told me that she had to return and I ether had to come with him but I told him to leave me alone. For the next months I thought about her when sleeping every night because I could not stop thinking about my love and how I let him go. I would whole heartedly approve of a secret wedding between Romeo and Juliet because I know the troubles between your family and your love, and I wish that wouldn't come upon any other people.

I met my first true love at the age of 14. As a matter of fact I am currently married to the man I fell in love with when I was 14. Unlike Romeo and Juliet, our two families were very close all through out our childhoods. We were practically destined to be together. Our parents were completely thrilled and supportive about our decision to marry each other. My husband and I were very lucky that we had supportive parents because if our parents were like the Montague’s and the Capulet’s we wouldn’t be together. Although Romeo and Juliet are doomed to be together I was surprised and excited when they told me about their marriage. I believe that everyone should marry who ever they want to, their last name should not matter. I am very happy for my friends Romeo and Juliet.

  56. Marcello Lometti period 3- My first true love is the woman i man currently married to, her name is Marcella. I met her when I was just 12 years old. I am now 15 so we have been married for 3 years. We met at the beach. I was chilling with my Montague boys playing some beach volleyball and what not when I laid my eyes on Marcella I knew that I had met the woman of my dreams. I like that her name is Marcella because we have the same names expect for the last letter. We have a very different relationship compared to Romeo and Juliet. For one, our parents know that we were dating and are married. And also our families do not hate each other and forbid us being together. I would be proud of Romeo and Juliet if they had a secret wedding because sometimes you have to do what you believe in and not let others hold you back. I think Romeo is making the right decision because if he loves Juliet as much as it seems he does then he should go through with it and be happy instead of living life without Juliet.

I am happily married to my lovely wife Florentina. Although we have no children, but our love is true. She first met me by attending my performnce of a cello piece I had written at a local stage. We talked for a while and within two weeked we married. I met her when she was seventeen and she is now eighteen. The past year of our marriage has been quite successful. Our relationship is similar to Romeo and Juliet's due to the fact that they both happened quite quickly. The speed and intensity of their realtionship is more than ours, but we were more cautious. Secret weddings are usually frowned upon in this society. The hastiness of Romeo and Juliet into rushing this decision could cost them their lives.

Like Romeo and Juliet, I met my first love at a dance. I did not fall in love with him instantly, but he asked me to dance and I accepted. After talking more and getting to know him better, I started to fall for him, and that is when I realized that he was the one for me. Sadly, his parents arranged for him to marry another woman, and though he protested, his attempts at changing his parents' minds were unsuccessful, and our relationship ended. I admire Romeo and Juliet for having the courage to go against their parent's will and secretly marry each other, but I don't think that it will work out, especially since their families are enemies.

My first love was met when I was doing work on the streets, It was love at first sight. Similar to Romeo and Juliet. I was selling my goods in a cart to pedestrians so I can make money aside from my Job as a maid for the Montague's. I made small eye contact with him , but there was something different about it. As almost a there was a spark when our eyes met. Later that night I saw him at a dance and he promised me that we would meet again. My foolish self actually believed his lies. I take pride and happiness in personally knowing Romeo , because he is chasing after his true love unlike my first love did. All though a Montague and a Capulet sounds completely absurd, I believe that people do crazy things when they're in love, and if they were ever to plan a secret wedding it would be selfish to their families but in ways each of the children have been somewhat locked away in their own world. Now that they have interest in love and emotion thinking of something like the two planning a secret wedding would be successfully rebellious or utterly stupid depending on how the action is done.

The two of us had fallen in love the moment we layer eye on eat other, just like Romeo and Juliet. My father did not like the boy, though my mother did. She had approved of us being together forever, but my father did not. 3 days later he had my love killed. i never forgave my father for what he did to me. If i was Romeo and Juliet right now i would go with having a secret wedding because there is nothing you can do after everything is already final.
