To be honest I never formally met Juliet. Therefore her death doesn't really impact me. However my friend Romeo has hhad a lot on his plate such as the death of Mercutio, death of Tybalt, being bannished and now his beloved lady is deceased. I have been exchanging few letters with him, and I believe I must bring word to him of this news, I must do what is in his best interest. I can only specualte on how he will feel. There is no doubt that he will be depressed, not to mention his bannishment is already putting weight on his shoulders.

  4. I cant believe that Juliet has passed away the morning of her wedding day. I was very happy for her because she was getting married and i wanted to see her get married. I was told by my wife that Julet had passed away. My wife got the news from her friend and her friend got the news from overhearing the nurse. I am very sad that Juliet is dead, but i know that she is in a great and happy place.

I recently heard of Juliet’s death. It was so sudden and so weird to hear of a girl about my age just dropped dead. Her death came out of nowhere. It’s beginning to scare me a little bit. How could a girl, wealthy like her, just go to bed one night and not wake up the next morning? It is very confusing. I found out from other maids who went to the town square to do some errands. They came back as the always do and gossiped about the news that they had just learned. I overheard the name “Juliet” and the word “dead” in the same sentence. Since I was confused I inquired more and they told me. “Juliet Capulet is dead.” Wow. It’s really hard to think about.

When i heard the news of juliets death i cried, i cried so hard that my kids started crying. Juliets death is so depressing because me and Romeo are so close that his face expression when he finds out will be so upsetting that i might cry forever. I am not an emotional guy but the death of Juliet caused the first tear to run down my face in 15 years. I found this out because i am neighbors with the capulets and the scream and emotions released from that household were so ear popping and infectuous that you knew something extremely terrible had happend and once i heard them scream about Juliet being dead, i then knew my life would soon change.

When I heard about the news of Juliet's death I was very sad because she was my best friend's daughter. I felt like I was a uncle to her. Without her my relationship with Lord and Lady Capulet will change. I heard the news from the Friar and he looked very convincing that Juliet has died. I knew something would fear me today and it was her death. Lady Capulet has been crying to me for hours and the Friar really doesn't care. If I was Lord Capulet I wish I had done something to help Juliet before she died.

  8. Sienna O'Rourke period 6 I heard people in towen talking assuming what I thought it was I went to the church, I was told of the sceene Juliet was going to pull however I didnt know exactly when it was going to happen. So you can say I was shocked like everyone else but not as shocked considering I was told what was going to happen by a close friend of the friar, which I later confronted the firar himself about. I do not know if this will work i told the firar this was very risky but since i do support thr two lovers i wish them my best.

  9. Lady Capulet and I were having lunch when the maid rushed into the kitchen almost ordering her to go upstairs. Lady Capulet excused herself from the table and hurried upstairs. While I was finishing up my lunch, I heard a loud cry from upstairs. I knew something was wrong. I saw the nurse rush by sobbing, and she stopped at my table and said, "Juliet is dead." I froze. That sentence lingered in my head over and over again. Dead? how is she dead? Lady Capulet came downstairs and fell into my arms. It was true. We both sobbed to each other for hours. I was shocked beyond belief and was nervous to tell my family. My daughter will be a disaster. She recently has been complaining to me that Juliet has been acting different and distant from her for the past couple of days. When I tell her this she will be devastated. Juliet is basically her sister. I cannot believe this happened overnight. I have a feeling a Montague is involved in this.

  10. Antonella Dalfonso Period 6- When I heard that Juliet had passed away, I was schocked. I was on my way to the Capulet household, when my friends who were joining me to perform that very day; came up to me and said that she ihad passed, and that we all have to perform for her funeral, and completely Change the style of the music. My friends had a problem with this, i personally didnt mind, because I like performing no matter the circumstances. The fact that hearing that Juliet died, sadend me very much. I feel bad that she never got to marry Romeo, evne though I had heard rumor of a secret weedding. I thought the fact that she died the day before her wedding for Paris was a little suspicious to me. It almost sounded like a suicidal, or she was wishing to die. Either way, I do not blame her. Who would want to grow up in that crazy household.

  11. Isabella Stevens. Period 4- Being the sister of Juliet, the news of her death was heartbreaking. Walking into her bedroom and seeing her lay there, cold and dead was the worst moment of my life. Juliet and i have been very close from the start and seeing my sister, who i've grown up with and shared great moments together die, was a depressing moment faced. I found out when Nurse was screaming for help when she saw Juliet dead. I was awoken from her screaming, ran into Juliets chamber, and saw a crowd of people over her bed. I thought it was just something about the wedding, which was brought to peoples attention, however, looking over Lord Capulet, my father, shoulder, i saw Juliet dead on her bed. Terrified as i was, my little sister died leaving her loved ones behind.

I haven't really met Juliet formally or had a long conversation with her. That is of course because I work for the Montague's and she is a Capulet. She is a very beautiful, young woman and she seemed perfect for Romeo. I knew that she married Romeo because they were very much in love. I found out about Juliet's death in the town. Everybody was talking about it and gossiping. I wanted to find out more information about it and what exactly happened but they didn't know much about it. They also didn't say how she died. Juliet's death does not really effect my life. It must be terrible for Romeo, though. I don't think he found out yet because he was banished from Verona. I can't imagine what he will be feeling once he does. This situation where Juliet died right before she was going to marry Paris is very ironic.

  13. I havent actually met juliet in person, but i have gotten an ear full about her from romeo. Ive never had the chance to meet her since im with the montagues. Romeo has told me much about her goof looks and her personality. I was sitting in the middle of town just chilling and i heard a lady screaming and balling crying. So as the gentleman i am i went up to her to help comfort her and she had told me what happened. i wasnt really that upset about it but i was upset for my bro romeo.

What a terrible tragedy to strike the Capulet family! Of course the only way I found out is through my colleagues and friends at the shop. We were hustling and bustling in order to finish every request for Juliet and Paris' wedding, when a man came through, screaming that Juliet has just died upon her bed. We all began mourning and crying the sad event, and the customers decided there was no need for hair-dressing, so they left. I went home that day, told my family, and sat around the dinner table. We mourned and prayed for Juliet's sake. We prayed that she would live a happy life with God in heaven, and that her family will move on with their lives, and they too will be happy. We finally prayed for poor Paris, that he may find another woman deserving of his hand in marriage. However, it turned out to be a bitter sweet event. Poor Juliet had died, but now the whole Capulet house came to me to redo their hair for the funeral tomorrow.

This morning, I heard the terrible news that Juliet has been found dead. I don't want to believe that this news is true. Everyone loves to make up rumors but by the sound of the Nurse's crying I know that it is true. Juliet Capulet is dead. I couldn't help but cry and feel a great deal of grief for Juliet and her family. I keep thinking of how Juliet died. I heard that there were no wounds that were found on her body which is a good sign I guess. What am I supposed to do with this beautiful wedding dress that I had sewn for her? All of the pictures of her in that dress that I imagined in my head have been taken over by the pain I am feeling. I know that she is in a better place now but I just can't help but wonder why God would choose to take her so soon. She had a long life ahead of her. She didn't experience nearly as much of life as she should've and poor Romeo, I wonder if he got the news yet. He's going to be so heartbroken. It's a shame that the wedding has been called off and turned into a funeral. I am praying for her and all of the Capulet family. Juliet was so sweet and innocent and didn't deserve to die young.

This morning I over heard some people talking about how Juliet has been found dead in her room. The death does not immediately affect me personally but I know that she was supposed to marry Paris today so thats not very convenient to die the morning of your wedding. I mourn for the sake of her family and hope she is in a happier place now. It is very sad for the young women to have to pass away ton what should be one of the happiest days of her life. I do feel very sad for Romeo as well as Paris because Romeo loved Juliet more than anything else in the world it seemed. And Paris is now left without a bride. I will pray for Juliet and all of her family.

Today I found out about the death of Juliet, everyone was talking about her death all across Verona, many people including myself will be going to her funeral. I find it tragic how someone so young died of natural causes and on what should have been the most important day in her 30 or 40 year life. Yet I do not find it that sad because I never interact with her.I have no doubt that this will impact Verona because the Capulets will simply start more fights because they will always be in a bad mood and sad leading to them starting more fights with there rivals.

  18. Marcello Lometti period 3- I am not really immediately affected by Juliet's death but it did take its toll on me. My friend Romeo who has been banished is going through a lot of bad stuff lately. I have just sent him a letter to inform him of the sad news. I feel awful about how Romeo will feel because of how much he has already gone through. And he went through so much to be with Juliet and then she just dies, its almost like he went through all that for nothing.

I cannot believe Juliet Capulet has died, the only heir of the powerful Capulets. This is awful news. She was too young to die. I found out when I was talking my daily walk with my children, everyone was screaming and looked frightened. I asked the Friar what had happened and he told me that Juliet died. I never actually met her but everything I heard about her was good. Never did I hear bad things about her. She helped everyone and listened to everyone. I do not know what the Capulets are going to do now. I hope they can still pass on their power to some other family member.

I have never actually met Juliet before. I have seen her around town and have heard how nice of a girl she is, but I was never formally introduced to her. Even though I have never met her it is still very sad that such a young girl died. I am a proud memeber of the Montague family, but I happen to feel bad for the Capulet family. I hope and pray that she is in a better place now. That would be a horrible occurence if it had happened to Romeo. I found out about the death because I was suprisingly attending the wedding between Juliet and Prince. Friar Lawrence and I are good friends and he told me the wedding has changed to a funeral service for Juliet's death.

This morning my family and I went to the Capulet's to help prepare for the wedding. When we walked in Aunt Capulet immediately came rushing down the stairs in controllable sobs. My parents and I rushed over to her to try to comfort her, wondering what could possibly be wrong. She started screaming but no one could make out what the words were. Finally she managed to gasp out that Juliet was dead. We were all stunned and then we started crying. I especially didn't know how to handle the information because Juliet is my favorite cousin and my close friend. We all just stood hugging, lamenting, and grieving for what seemed like hours.

I was on my way to go to work when I overheard the Capulet’s say that Juliet recently died in the morning, but the worst part is that she passed away on the day of her wedding. I feel terribly bad for Paris; I could imagine him being very upset and depressed right now. Even though I didn’t know Juliet very well, I always heard that she was a very kind lady and she was also very pretty. I’m not sure why Juliet died but it seems a little strange to me because it seemed like she was living her life very nicely and everything seemed to be going right, but then again I don’t know her that well so I wouldn’t know.

  23. Gabriella Rheinglold Period 6- I was devastated, even though she always demanded me to do everything for her even if it wasn't part of my job, but she was a very nice girl. she did not deserve to die especially at such a young age! but hopefully whatever she died from she is not suffering anymore, i will miss her terribly and picking up behind her. i will miss having to go into her room every day to clean and do her laundry and to cook for her, but she is definitely in a much better place! I found out once I heard the nurse screaming to someone for help, not thinking it was something serious I went to see if she needed my help; juliet being surrounded by the nurse her mom and me as well, thats when i found out that poor juliet has died!

When I heard about Juliet's death I felt devastated. I wonder why she had died. I feel like she maybe caused this on herself knowing she could not be with Romeo. If this is true then this is a terrible way to settle things. I would think Paris is in total shock knowing that Juliet had died. I wonder who he will marry now knowing that Juliet died. I also wonder how Romeo feels. Now that he is banished and his true love is dead, what will he resort to now? Since I am the Capulets banker the news of Juliet's death has reached me. This is a terrible tragic event. I feel horrible about this because she was not to old. I wonder what will happen next for the Capulets.

The news of Juliet’s death is a surprise to me. I would never have expected a girl like Juliet to die so suddenly, when her wedding was planning on being very soon. I was saddened for Romeo, how could he live without her? I was curious to know how he would react given the news. I found out about Juliet’s death from people in the town square talking about the news straight from the Capulet’s and the Friar. I was in the bakery getting ready for Juliet and Paris’s wedding when I stopped everything to listen in on the news.

This morning I woke up extra early excited for Juliet and Paris's wedding, I woke up to finish up the icing of the cake and touch it up a bit. Then I heard the news of Juliets death, it came to me once I arrived at my store. The Frair was on his way over to the Capulets and he stopped to tell me because he knew I was involved in the wedding. It is very depressing that Juliet is not with us anymore, she lived such a nice life being wealthy and being able to marry Paris a good man for her indeed, but in ways I felt sorry for Juliet. Juliets parents were very controlling over her and she always obeyed them because she had no choice, it seemed as if she was suffering in that house hold. Now she is in a better place and gone from her parents.

Although Juliet's death doesn't affect my family much because we don't associate much with the Capulet and we have never talk to her in our life it was still very upsetting and shocking to hear that such a beautiful and delicate young women would waste her life away. I overheard news of Juliet's death from some townspeople. They were saying that she passed away on the day of her wedding. I have very mixed emotions about her death. On one hand, death is a sad thing and anyone dying is a terrible occurance. Plus, it is very hard not to be sad when the entire town is mourning. however, Juliet is in a much better place now. She no longer has to deal with the harshness and unfairness of the world. She also doesn't have to marry Paris anymore, which I heard was something she didn't want to do anyway. Since she and Romeo were already married, she resented the fact of being forced into a marriage with a guy she did not like. I feel like the Capulets should ttake this as a lesson. The last thing that they told Juliet was how bad she was and what a disgrace she was if she didn't marry Paris. You never know what could happen so you should never treat anyone with that amount of disrespect.

I found out about Juliet's death through Friar Lawrence. I was on my way to the Capulet house to attend the wedding when I ran into the friar, who then proceeded to tell me how the wedding has turned into a funeral for Juliet, who unfortunately died in her sleep. I wasn't very close to young Juliet, but the news shocked me because of the way that it happened. I mean, she's always looked perfectly healthy to me, how does a girl like that just drop dead in her sleep?! Anyway, I pray that she's in a better place now, and that her family gets through this rough time.

This morning was such a tragic one, it went from being a day to rejoice a new marriage to mourning a dead heir within an hour! I was stunned when I heard the news from the nurse this morning as she ran through the Capulet house screaming for everyone to turn the wedding preparations into a funeral. Just as I was about to bring Juliets finished wedding dress to her chamber also! If I was the one to have found Juliets cold, lifeless body in her chamber I think I may have fainted and appeared dead myself. I even saw Juliet yesterday when I fit her for her final wedding dress! I don’t have a clear recollection of my reaction to the news, but I do remember sitting on the steps to her chamber and holding her dress while weeping. When Lord and Lady Capulet came past me with her body there was nothing I could do but bawl, and through blurry eyes I saw that everyone else in the house was doing the same. Even though Lord Capulet may have wanted to sell Juliets life away to Paris, he did not deserve Juliets death as a punishment. It is almost as if Juliet wanted to die, since at her fitting she did not seem enthusiastic for the wedding but was in perfectly healthy conditions. I also did not hear the cause of Juliets death yet, though the Nurse was ranting on about a dagger being by her bedside with no blood. I cant even handle the news of Romeos banishment and now there is a death from the opposing family in Verona! Its odd, but I cant help wonder how the two families are feeling right now, whether they have sympathy towards the other or are keeping up traditions and paying no respect to each other. These next few weeks are going to be hard in the Capulet household and I cant help wonder how Juliets death will affect my job since she is my primary client, without her there is only Lady Capulet to mend clothes for. I'm sure there will be many rumors over the next couple of weeks pertaining to Juliets death and the workers jobs, but I will ignore all of them and focus on what is important; paying respects to Juliets family. I will try to be strong for them and show my familys support for their loss no matter what the cost, because I will remain a loyal worker to the Capulet family no matter what.

The death of Juiliet is a sad story however it doesn't affect me at all. Juliet was supposidly a very nice young lady but I have never had the chance to meet her or meet any off the people she associates with because of my connections with the Montagues. So in the end, this death, like most, was a sad and srrowful one but it does not effect me. I heard the news of Juliets death from the gossip that goes around town. At first I did not belive it, but then I confirmed it with Friar Lawrence when i went to him for confession. I do not know how or why she died becuase from what I know, she was perfectly healthy.

The death of Juliet didn't affect me personally, because I have never met the families in person, but it makes me very sad that Juliet had died one day before her wedding. I went to the store to buy a new suit and I was getting ready for the wedding, but before the wedding I went to church and the Friar had told me the news about Juliet. I was very upset because my mood went from being happy for her getting married to sad because now I have to attend a funeral. A positive event has now turned into a negative event. Hearing the terrible news of the death of Juliet is a true horror. The young girl of 14's life was just taken in an instant by the cruelty of the world. What a lamentable and woeful day. This is an awfully true day of sorrow. I can do nothing but sit here and grieve for the poor child that just died. Her poor family. Paris is left without a bride. Lord Capulet is left without an heir to his family and the Lady is without her only child. This shame just shows how horrid and ghastly the cruel fate of the world can work. It is unfortunate that the poor young girl was taken off of the earth so quickly, but nothing can be done to bring her back. She is truly gone forever and that is the scariest part. Her death is a reminder to all of us that any one single day could be your last. I do show my condolences for her family and loved ones. I only hope for the best future of what she left behind. Poor Romeo and Paris must be suffering through intense emotions of grief. I can only pray that they do not do anything rash or hasty.

This whole day has been dreadful and dragged on. I've been droopy and have been dragging my feet around as I walk. I am having a hard time concentrating on my work and went home fairly early today. The news that I heard today was dreadful. Juliet has passed. I could not believe it. She was so young and it was so sudden. How could such a thing happen? What could have possibly caused this? I can't imagine how the Capulet's must feel, they are probably mourning about the loss of their daughter, her death was so unexpected and sudden. This was supposed to be a happy day, a day full of joy and a bright future, but instead in turned into a day of mourning and sadness. I do not know how to show my sorrow for the Capulet's, I have decided to just attend the funeral and show my respect. Maybe I will say a word or two to Lord and Lady Capulet. I had heard the news from the Nurse this morning as I dropped the three gowns for the wedding on their doorstep. When she delivered the news, I was hit with shock and a feeling of melancholy. It was so sudden and unexpected, I will be deeply saddened by this and will be for a long time now.

How does your character take the news of Juliet’s death? How did you find out? (169)

I took Juliet's death very hard, It's extremely hard for me to talk about it right now even. I did not believe a word I was hearing when Peter told me the news! I almost fell over, Juliet was such a sweet girl she did not deserve to die. I was told by Peter because he is closer to Lord Capulet and Lady Capulet than I am. I was one of the last to know about her death because I am one of the many maids. I've dressed Juliet and it was so sad to know she is passed on, she is in a better place now, I thought Paris was going to be a great husband. Being a maid of the Capulet house the news spread fairly quickly about Juliet’s dead. Plus I was working the day it happened because I work mainly everyday after all I do need the money. I heard a scream and then there was a bunch of commotion. I feel very sad that such a bright and astute young lady is dead, because she had so much potential and who knows what she might’ve done for the Capulet house in the future or even done for herself in that matter. She meant a lot to the house that being she was the only child of Lord and Lady Capulet. Everyone in the house is very confused as well because we all thought she was ok so I guess you could say were in shock as to how it even happened but there really is no way of knowing, a poor soul was lost so young its tragic.

I was treating the Prince for a minor bruise at the time. I was just gently placing some bandage when Peter came sprinting in. He took about 5 minutes just to catch his breath. Eventually he wheezed the words out. "Juliet...sleep...dead!!!" is all I could understand. I crudely finished the wrapping and rushed to the house. When I arrived the was swarmed by family members, I could barely reach her. Eventually I got to the body and within seconds identified the body as dead. Everyone left and i prepared the body for burial. Hours after I received the news I felt terrible, three people dead and one banished, none of it from the black plague.

Since Juliet is my best friend, I was well aware of the plan she had set up with the Friar. So when I heard the news that she was dead, I wasn’t surprised at all!! I did however act surprised because if I didn’t people would find it strange that her best friend wasn’t upset. I acted upset and I even got myself to cry but I knew that Juliet wasn’t really dead. I was hoping all night long that her plan would work. Juliet deserves to be happy and the only way she could really be happy is to leave Verona with the love of her life, Romeo. If all went well Juliet is with Romeo on her way out of Verona! She told me that she would write me a letter once she left Verona, I am still waiting for a letter from her which is starting to make me nervous.

I was extremely saddened to hear about the death of Juliet, this is because Lord Capulet has no other children to pass his part of the families power to. Also anyone would be saddened by the death of a family member. My servant informed me about the death, he was given the message by the town crier. I was invited to the funeral which I'm sure will also be very sad. I send my regards for Lord Capulet and his wife.

  48. Fiorella Scarano(pd.4)…. Juliet’s dead. Gone, just like that the morning of her wedding. I can’t stop crying and praying that it isn’t true. Juliet’s cause of death is unknown, but was sadly confirmed. I heard about it just minutes ago. I was in the dining hall where the party would be held. I heard a loud shrill coming from Juliet’s bedchamber. I was startled to notice that it the Nurse who screamed and wailed was running down to Lady Capulet. I listened in to their conversation. “Juliet’s dead.” At that moment, I drop the handful of utensils I was carrying. I was astonished and surprised. Dead? How could that be? I am still in a state of mourning for both the Capulet family and for Paris as well. Now he has no bride to be wed too and will have to continue being a single man until he finds another betrothal. This event has just started one of the saddest days of my young life.

  49. sabrina amicucci period 4- I had just woke up and went to the store to buy some groceries when i had heard from a near buy shopper that Juliet was dead. I was shocked from what i had heard. It couldn't be true, it was impossible. I quickly rushed to find Romeo, he too was shocked to hear the news, he fell to the floor in tears. I felt horrible to be the one to tell Romeo. then i thought to my self that if Romeo didn't even now she was dead, it couldn't be true. i quickly ran over to the place of the capulets and peered into Juliet's window to find her body there. she looked as if she was asleep. I thought that she was until a man walked in and pronounced her dead. It was a tragic afternoon in the city of Verona.

  50. I never knew Juliet personally, but heard the news of her untimely death when I eavesdropped on the gossip of the other Montague servants. They explained how the Capulets must be grieving deeply, having lost a daughter and a cousin in less than a week. I pity them. No matter your family name, losing a kinsman is a devastating occasion.

A servant in the house has come to me with news that Juliet was found dead and I can't believe she has passed away. I didn't know her very well but I do know that Romeo was in love with her. I don't know how Romeo will take that news. He will be very upset and depressed over this incident and I wouldn't be surprised if he took his life over it.

I took the news quite well of Juliet's death because I didn't know her personally so I wasn't all that affected plus they never came into my bakery so why should I care for her. I found out from people gossiping about it in my store. They were saying a Montague killed her.

My character wouldnt take Juliets death as an emotional expression he has no feelings to people, he would be surprised but he wouldnt be sad nor upset about the occurance of Juliets death. He would be roaming the streets of London and when he is working as a blacksmith he would be notified by the people that walk by the shop.

When I heard that Juliet was dead I actually started crying a lot. Even though I guess it's somewhat wrong for me to feel bad for the Capulet's because I'm a Montague this situation is similar to loosing Mercutio. I never knew that so many deaths of Capulet's and Montague's could happen so quickly in such a tragic , gory and mysterious way. Poor Juliet never got to live to see her wedding day, which is too bad , Paris was a really handsome man.
