  1. Jacob.M period 6- Bulling words can kill is about how words can cause people to go to dramatic and fatal choice. They choice this title to show straight off the bat what this was going to be about bullying people. I feel like this title work great because it shows the horror and fear that bullying can cause. I believe that this is a true representation about the world we live in and how bullying can be a big problem. This video make me feel sad and decreased about how people can be so cruel to other people for one trait about that person. I feel that Melinda is being blamed for one thing she did and only that just like the people in the video were feeling

  2. Conor M. - Period 3 - The title "Bullying: Words Can Kill" is a very powerful and moving title. It brings to mind thoughts about how bullying can affect people and change lives for the worse. Having the word "Kill" in the title makes bullying seem much less innocent than it is often perceived. I think the tile is effective in grabbing the attention of the viewer and illustrating how powerful bullying can be. The video portrays many opinions of bullying and facts. Several people are interviewed and they express their stories, opinions and connections with bullying. Nearly all the opinions on bullying are negative. No one mentions bullying to be a positive habit. The presentation of the material is very realistic because it is the first hand accounts of how bullying can truly be painful. It is not a second-hand source that tells of bullying being remote. It is a primary and personal story of how bully can affect people like you. While watching the video, I felt a surge of sadness and sympathy for the people being bullied. The kids being bullied were truly hurt by the bullies and one child was forced to be home schooled due to the onslaught of vicious remarks made at him. It is a true shame that people have to be ridiculed and ostracized for who they are. Every one of the victims just wanted to fit in, but bullied sometimes would antagonize people who were friendly to the victim. This was most apparent in the case of Dara. Bullying also makes an appearance in Speak. Melinda has a terrible first day of High School and is forced to be alone. She has food thrown at her and is made into a fool. One thing that surprises me about Melinda is that she is not terribly anxious to try and make new friends. She deals with her emotion by locking it up and moping all day. The real life scenarios showed that the kids were hopelessly trying to fit in and were taking an active role in preventing bullying. Melinda just pushes the situation away. I think Melinda will change as a character and become more cheerful by the end of the book.

The title of the movie "Bullying Words Can Kill" is a very common title for this situation. because in this presentation the words that come out of the bulls mouths make other kids want to kill themselves. The presentation makes me feel bad for the bullied kids because after a while they don't know what to do or think. I don't think they should be treated like this.
