I am very happy with my place in high school society because I have lots of friends who understand me and are there for me when I need them, I also have many friends in other grades which definitely makes it easier for me. 11. Harrison S. period 4, In the student population I can socialize with different groups. Such as on the football field I am friends with many different people from different groups because we are all a team. In class I can be friends with anyone in such class because we are working together towards a common goal. When I am at home I have my couple of best friends who I'll always hang out with no matter what. In school, like in the lunchroom I will talk to many different people who are from mixed groups and I will move around during the day. I am happy with the group that I am in in highschool

  12. Ariel C. period 6, In my student population, I wouldn't be able to put myself in one specific group. I have friends in all different groups of people. I think that "groups" and "cliques" are such a middle school thing. My friends aren't determined by who sits at my lunch table or who is in my classes. My friends depend on who I get along with and who has the same interests as me. My friends don't have to have the same friends as me and that is something that is important to me and I don't have to be friends with all of their friends. I am very happy at the high school because it takes away all the traps of being in a "group", but you can still have great friends.

  13. Scott B. Period 4, In school I dont know what group I am in and it doesn't concern me that much because I am happy with who I am and if someone has a problem with that... That's unfortunate for them.

  14. In the student population, I feel that don`t fit into any certain group because my circle of friends consists of many differrent types of people, so I am friends with a group that is a "melting pot" so to speak. But I still talk to people that I don`t hang out with but are friends outside of my group. I am happy with where I am happy with where I am in high school society and don`t care about popularity because I only care about being with the people I enjoy being around.

  20. Jackie D. period 6. I do not think i fit into a social group. Im probally a mixed variety. people probally would considered me goth, or a punk rocker. which im not totally all about. Anyways, I hang out with aa few good close friends at lunch, who have alot of the same intrests as me. for example we like to play music. I am happy where i am in in the social group status, because its who i am, and i love my friends. Im fine with where i am in school.

  22. Kiana Comizio Period 7
This year in school I don't have a specific group that I fit into. In middle school I think had a specific group and we were "cliquey". I didn't socialize with many people outside the "group". This year I have a few best friends but I socialize with a lot of different people who have different friends than me. I am happy with my place in high school society because I learned to expand my variety of friends. I got to know a lot of people who I really enjoy being friends with and I am thankful I got to know them.

  24. Sam L. period 7. i honestly don't "fit in " with any group. i find i get alone with certain people more then others but as far as a group goes i have friends everywhere. i don't like looking at someone like they're in a certain group and i find that a lot of people including myself are guilty of doing it without even thinking. i have a few close friends who are the most like myself but i like meeting new people who are into other things.

  25. Max Uretta Period 7- I believe that i don't fit in with any specific group in my student population because i do not care what other people think about me or what other people have to say about me. I talk to many different people in the school but i normally just hang out with certain people that i get along with easier then other people in different groups but i do talk to other people outside of my group. I am happy with my group of friends that i normally hang out with and spend time with.

  28. Michelle Aguirre-per.3-I do have a group of close friends, but i have many other really good friends, so I'm not specifically part of only one group. The people I surround myself with define who I am, and if I changed that then my life and personality would change too. I like being where I am because I get to do a lot of things with different people. I definately love my friends and my position in high school.

  29. Jillian Roos- Period 4 : To be honestly I do not think I fit in anywhere. I'm new so I'm just getting to know everybody ... But I've met a lot of friends that are in different groups . I believe that 'social groups' are just stereotypes and I am positive a lot of people agree with that idea on the most part. I also like to meet new people it is a way to branch out to others.

  37. Olivia B Period 7- In my student population, I am friends with a lot of different people; some in which I sit with at lunch or I have common classes with, or just people that I like being around. Although I do have a lot of friends in one social group, that doesn't mean that I am ONLY friends with those specific people. I like to associate myself with being a person who doesn't have one particular clique and I feel that it isn't important for someone to be in one clique. People should be able to make new friends outside of their social groups without wondering how people would judge them based on who they hang out with. I have a lot of close friends outside of school as well which shows that it isn't necessary to be with one group of people all the time.

  38. Daniella Lagani period 7- I feel that I do have a group of friends who I hang out with alot especially lunch. But I do socialize with people from other groups. I don't think that kids should be divided into groups and not communicate with people from other groups. I am happy with my part in high school society. I am not afraid to meet new people, acually really enjoy making new friends.

  39. Emily Coash Period 7- In my School i have my group of extremely close friends but i also am friends with other people that aren't in that group. 40. Daniel Quinn period 4- In school I dont belong to one group. I just hang out with kids that i feel confortable with. I socialize with people that belong to diffrent groups and I am glad that i am friends with a variety of people. I do not wish to be in a diffrent group because I am happy with where I am.

  41. In high school, I do not feel as thought I belong to one certain group. I have a variety of people I hang out with and talk to. I like not being tied down to one specific group which allows me to make new friends and get to know different people. I am happy with this position in high school because it makes it easier to expand my friendships with others. I do not wish to be in a different group, because I don't have a specific group.

  42. Roma S. (pd.4) I can't specifically classify myself into a certain group of people. I like to have a variety of friends even if we don’t have EVERYTHING in common together. I’m happy with my place in high school, but I still want to branch out and make more friends. I’m going to join as many clubs as I can and try to get the full high school experience. As a freshman, many upperclassmen, from my viewing, look down at us at times. I am going to do my best to personally change that for me and make new friends that are in higher grades.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Emma L.- Period 7; I do have a number of close friends but I do socialize with other people. Going into high school allowed myself to expand the number of people I am friends with and I'm happy I did so because I met new people that I really enjoy to be around. I do not wish that I were in a different group because I am not in a specific group, it's just my closest friends who I am mostly with.

  44. Mike S. pd. 3- I dont feel like I am apart of any groups. I have close friends that I hang out with on my free time. I am also friends with a lot of different people and socialize with many others. Im close with all the kids on the football field because we are one as a team. I am fine with where I am in the high school society and dont feel like I belong in any group at all.

  45. Maria L. period 3. In my student population, I believe that I don't really fit into any specific groups. I believe this because I talk to many different people and also kids from different grades. But then again I do have some friends that I always go to talk to and ask for help. I'm happy where I stand in high school, and I definitely would not like to be part of a specific group or "clique".

    ReplyDelete
  46. Katie Stevens. Period 4- In my student population, I dont really fit into any specific group. I associate with many different people in the high school. I am glad I have the chance to meet new people and get to know more about other people who I was not able to get to know throughout the years in middle school. I am happy where I am because high school just started and i've already made so many new friends.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Period 3-I have no exact group of people, I hang out with all the time with different people, I am happy with my position in the high school and I think that if someone isn't then they are only very self conscious.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Sydney M. Period 3- In the student population I dont classify myself with one group. Of course I have a few friends that I hang out with most of the time but in my classes I can branch out and talk to people in different groups. The teenagers in high school are still going to have their groups that they hang out with and the people they share secrets with, that will never change, but in high school I can make conversation with someone that I normally wouldn't talk to. I believe that there are a few cliques left over from middle school that don't want to branch out and talk with new friends or be lab partners with someone different. The high school has been a pleasant experience for me so far and I feel I can express myself more through all of the extra curricular activities offered. Also, I can talk with people within different grades which is very different from middle school because people are afraid to talk to each other and make new friends when they are already are in their "clique" so they dont want to disrupt the balance of the groups.

  49. I socialize with many groups, in which are all varied. I don't particularly hang out with a specific group of friends. A lot of my friends have different personalities that I am open to. I am currently happy with where I am placed in society, although one thing I would like would be to socialize with a group of athletes, this is because I really think I could relate to them and their everyday lives.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Erica G (period 3)- I socialize with a number of people from many different groups, so I do not classify myself into any certain group. Although I have a few close friends which I hang out with frequently, I try to meet new people who I normally wouldn't talk to. High school has given me the opportunity to expand my number of friends and to meet new people who I wouldn't have thought that I would ever become friends with. I don't wish I was part of any one specific group because I like to socialize with people from many different groups, and I like not being tied down to just one particular group of friends.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Yumi R. (Period 3) I'm not sure where I fit in. I'm pretty sure I fit out. I don't particularly like fitting in or being the same as everyone else. I have an unlimited amount of friends all from the different countries and schools I've been to, but other than that I don't have too much close friends because I find it's hard these days to trust anyone. Some of your 'friends' will only stay your friend because they're curious and not because they care. Above all that, I like not fitting in. If the whole world tried to be the same our lives would be tedious.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Oriana Flecha Period 7-
Of course i have my group of good friends that i always hangout with at lunch and outside of school. Besides from them, i am good friends with many people outside of my group and outside of school. I think it is good to have friends that aren't from your school cause then where ever you go you have a quantity if friends.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Period 7:i have a great group of friends that i hang out with. these friends care about me and they are trusting. but i also have other friends from other places that i hang out with too. i like my position in high school and i hope it stays like that during the year.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Chris G Period 7- I do believe that we are all divided into social group, and i believe that i belong to a group thats not popular but not and outsider either. I do talk to other people outside our group, and im happy where i stand. But of course, like almost everyone else, i do wish that i was in a higher group. But in the end, it doesnt matter where i am, as long as i have my friends

    ReplyDelete
  55. Gabriella B period 3- I don't think I belong to one specific "group" in the high school. I have my group of friends that I socialize with the most but I do talk to many different people. There are times when I wanted to have more friends or be friends with other people. Recently I have come to realize that I should be happy that I have friends who care about me because some people are isolated/ are outsiders in our social world. So I have come to be happy with where I am.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Mike G period 3- I don't think that I belong to one specific social group. I have many groups of people that I talk to. I'm glad that I don't belong to one specific social group because that would limit the amount of people that I would talk to or associate myself with. I am happy with my position in the high school because I have friends that I am comfortable around and they are comfortable around me.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Nick F period 3- I don't belong to any specific group. I socialize with many different people from different social groups. I am happy that I'm not in a social group because if I was, then I would talk to less people and probably not have as many friends. I am also happy with where I am in the high school society because I have many friends and as long as I have them, being in a social group doesn't really matter to me.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Margarita J period 6- I don't belong in any specific group. If I think a person can understand what I'm going through or have the same interests that I do then I will like that person as a friend. Its easy as that. I like socializing with others that i don't really know in high school. So far I have met really interesting people and made new friends. I am happy with the place that I am in now.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Jenn Moran Period 7- In my student population, I personally think that I don't fit in any specific group. I talk to a lot of people in our grade, and people in other grades. Then when It comes to a problem I would usually go to my good friends for help or anything. I’m happy where I stand in High school because I feel like there are more people here with the same interests as me.
